Hope Bond is a graduate of Kutztown University of Pennsylvania (KU) with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Communication Design. Her concentrations within the major included Graphic Design and Advertising Design. While Bond’s professional career began once she joined the KU art program, she has been passionate about the graphic design field since early youth, beginning work with Zion’s Church in 2010 as a self-taught graphic designer. Bond partnered with senior graphic designers at Zion’s to create innovative marketing pieces like postcards, billboard advertisements, and t-shirts for the church’s various programs. This early experience assisted in advancing Bond’s skills, as she worked with alternative photo-editing software prior to becoming experienced with the Adobe Creative Cloud and similar professional programs. Bond’s subsequent college career assisted in expanding her creativity through the use of various mediums and improved her technical skills while educating her on the various “tricks of the trade” within the design business.
Currently, Bond is a graphic designer at William Fox Munroe, Inc. (WFM). Her initial experience at the company was as an intern in Spring 2018, after which she was hired on as a full-time graphic designer. Throughout Bond’s time at WFM, she has learned the in’s and out’s of the packaging design industry, and significantly sharpened her graphic design skills by utilizing Adobe Creative Cloud programs and Strata Design 3D. Teamwork, multitasking, efficiency, and attention to detail are key to success within the graphic design industry, and Bond strives each day to continuously improve her graphic design skills as she aims for perfection of the craft.
